If you’ve been in or around strength sports or strength training for any length of time, you’ll have heard the term maxing out. Sticking a load of weight on the bar and trying to lift as heavy as you can for 1 rep and potentially getting a personal best. For any strength enthusiast reading this, sounds awesome doesn’t it, but is it something you should do regularly?
